The Riserva marks the beginning of our winemaking story. Originally known as “Rosso di Pereta,” it became the first Morellino di Scansano in our collection with the creation of the denomination in 1978. Its label, unchanged over the years, preserves the visual memory of this journey and stands as a testament to the enduring continuity of our deep bond with the territory.
The result of a rigorous selection of our grapes from vineyards dedicated to Morellino, the Riserva matures for 15 months in Slavonian oak casks of 10, 20 and 40 hl.
